book club invitation! inciting joy

A quick one this morning to report, the November light is here sliding this way and that in the sky delighting me as much as anything. Sharp colors, unforgiving, orange, deep blue. And then the soft ones pink, brown, and the grays that stretch and stretch into forever.
I meant to write last week but sickness ran through the house and I found myself coughing and holding an even smaller person coughing wishing I had the attention span for bad television.
So on the tail end of sick, still a little bleary, here I am to let you know that the inaugural re-enchantment book club will happen on November 15th at 5:30 PST. We’ll be chatting about Inciting Joy, Ross Gay’s book of delicious essays. I am especially into the one called, ‘Went Free’’
So with that I so look forward to a longer chance to write later this week. A chance to spend some time with all of you!
