Something happens when we come together to sit with plants. In a world that moves fast, where extraction and consumption dominate, gathering in community to simply notice, to be in relationship with the more-than-human world, feels like a quiet act of resistance. It shifts our attention from urgency to presence, from knowing to listening.
Every time I’ve shared this practice in a group setting, I’ve seen how it deepens our experience—how different perspectives, memories, and insights weave together into something larger than any one person’s observations. The plants meet each of us in unique ways, but together, our noticing forms a kind of collective wisdom.
This practice feels like an antidote—an invitation to slow down, to recalibrate, to remember that we are not separate from the living world.
I’d love for you to join me for Unfolding Aliveness: Collective Plant Sits—a shared experience of presence, curiosity, and connection.
