ways of being together: showing us what we might need
Plants have a way of showing us what we need, whether or not we’re ready to hear it. They reflect what’s happening around us and within us, offering quiet reminders that often land with surprising clarity.
I’ve had moments where a plant’s presence felt like an answer—like the way a sturdy oak reminded me to stay grounded during a time of upheaval, or how a wild fennel’s persistence along the cracks of a city sidewalk spoke to resilience when I needed it most. As Robin Wall Kimmerer writes, “Plants speak in a language that every human once understood.” The practice is in remembering how to listen.
In Unfolding Aliveness: Collective Plant Sits, we’ll explore this kind of deep noticing together. It’s not about learning botanical facts, but about paying attention—letting the plants guide us toward what we most need to hear.
I’d love for you to join me.
